Annie B's Bio
After graduating from the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park, New York, Ann Bartholomay worked as an executive chef in the hospitality industry for seven years. Shifting her focus to specialty wedding cakes and artisan desserts, she founded Annie B's Confections in the kitchen of her Bucks County, Pennsylvania farmhouse.
After far outgrowing her kitchen and selling the business that she worked to expand over twenty years, Bartholomay has once again turned her attention to the creation of full, delicious meals that highlight fresh and local ingredients. In addition to her work at 1740 House, Bartholomay also recently founded Annie B's Kitchen, a small cooking school that specializes in providing cooperative, instructional cooking events.

Corporate Meeting Team Building Classes
Nothing pulls a team together more than an evening of fun in the kitchen... with a delicious multi-course meal as the end result! A dinner event with Annie B's Kitchen is perfect for team-building exercises, corporate cooking parties, or showing client appreciation. Our hands-on, full participation cooking events are opportunities to teach the building blocks of a successful organization--how to communicate and cooperate with a team, make quick decisions, and prioritize tasks. We start the meal by providing the hors d'oeuvres and wine, settling into a fun and social environment. Then we will guide you through the preparation of one of our four-course gourmet meals, and when all of the cooking is complete, you can sit together, relax, and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done.
Choose from our custom designed menus for the perfect meal: Ragin' Cajun, Way Down South, Mediterranean Feast, Spanish Tapas, French Countryside, Rustic Italian, or Decadent Desserts.
Coming Soon: Weekend Classes @ The 1740 House! 1740 House Cooking Weekend. Stay at the beautiful country bed and breakfast for a weekend of hands on and cooking demonstrations, lovely views and fabulous meals. Friday 6:00pm to Sunday noon.
